  • (1888PressRelease) October 14, 2010 - TEC Solutions Limited will bring its flagship product IP-guard to take part in Japan's leading IT exhibition ITpro Expro on Oct. 18, 2010. This year, this IT huge event for the Japanese will be held at Tokyo International Exhibition Center, Tokyo, Japan and will last for three days.

Renbo, the general manager of TEC Solutions Limited said, "It is a greater opportunity to let IP-guard show up in this IT event and impress the Japanese people. Last year, we participated in the ITpro Expro 2009 and the effect was pretty good. I believe that we will get more from this year's exhibition." Renbo said, TEC Solutions Limited has successfully attracted many Japanese and global customers and helped them solve their headache management problems caused by computer misuse. Some of IP-guard's customers are huge international corporations and located in different countries. Survey results show that IP-guard was popular among the Japanese companies.

They all agreed that IP-guard can help them strictly get a grip on computer usage. Last year, TEC Solutions Limited set up a Japan Office in Tokyo. This year, TEC Solutions Limited not only brings IP-guard to the IT exhibition but also brings its latest module File Encryption Module. According to his introduction, this new module can transparently encrypts and decrypts files for authorized end users, allowing corporation manager to maintain data security without affecting end users' productivity and file access. The differences between IP-guard File Encryption Module and the current file encryption products on the market are as follows:

Firstly, IP-guard uses clear access permissions classification. Differing from other file encryption products on the market, IP-guard took the lead in using clear permission classification. It adopted "security zone" and "security level" to classify files and staff into different security zones and they can be specified with different security levels. IP-guard dared to import this idea into its new module and can satisfy every company's data security management requirements.

Secondly, IP-guard promises that the encrypted data will always stay safe because it uses the standby server and file server. No matter what happens to customer's system, there will be one server running to keep the encryption function working. In case of data loss for the inappropriate use, the file server will back up all the plaintext files before they are encrypted.

Third, IP-guard can strictly control the use permission even when the files have been sent out of the company. Company managers can limit the access times, access duration and file operations (e.g., copy, paste, delete, PrintScreen, print) of the outgoing files. Therefore, the file use is still in sender's control though files are in outbound recipients' hands.

For above differences, IP-guard is believed to impress a lot of users for its stability and security. Renbo mentioned that the File Encryption Module is still in test. If users are interested in its features, they need to wait till the release of its official version. According to TEC Solutions' schedule, the File Encryption Module will be launched in Jan. 2011.
