IOREBA Set to Launch NJ Office and Industrial Market Research Reports

Top Quote Set for a January Kick-off, the Portal will offer the combined Quarterly Market Reports of eight top NJ Real Estate Brokerage Firms. End Quote
  • Newark, NJ (1888PressRelease) December 29, 2010 - While there has been no single source of office and industrial market data for New Jersey, that is about to change, announced Sean Brady, President of IOREBA and Senior Director of Cushman & Wakefield, Inc., East Rutherford, N.J. In January, the Industrial and Office Real Estate Brokers Association of the New York Area Inc. (IOREBA) will formally launch its Market Research Reports, accessible through the organization's web site at www.ioreba.com/market_report.html.

"Until now, it has not been possible to put two different firms' information up on the screen side-by-side," said Brady. "With this new portal, anyone will be able to read up to eight different quarterly reports and draw your own conclusions about market conditions and trends. This will be helpful for brokers who are pitching agencies and tenant rep assignments. Developers, bankers, appraisers and journalists will all find the web site easy and very helpful.

"The other important component is that the participants all present their data differently," said Brady, who first conceived the Market Research Reports. "Some of the participants focus on the economic trends, completed leasing transactions, capital markets, unemployment, sales comps, blocks of available space, new construction and others just focus on the vacancies, absorptions and rental rate. The Market Research Reports will combine all of these approaches to provide a better, well-rounded understanding of the marketplace."

Companies set to post their quarterly reports include Cassidy Turley; Cushman & Wakefield, Inc.; Jones Lang LaSalle; NAI James E. Hanson; Colliers International; Weichert Commercial Brokerage, Grubb & Ellis, Inc.; Sitar-ONCOR International; and Studley. The site will officially launch in late January, featuring those firms' 2010 4th quarter reports.

The Market Research Reports is being designed and will be maintained by CPG Interactive, which has been developing e-media and marketing materials for more than 250 companies nationwide for nearly two decades.

"The market reports will be available in one of two ways - either links to the companies' own web sites, or posted pdfs," said David Nusim, President of CPG Interactive. "The site will be updated quarterly and may be expanded later on to include other products."

The launch will also coincide with IOREBA's next scheduled event, a joint dinner meeting with the SIOR chapters of New York and New Jersey, and the Metro Chapter of CCIM. The meeting is slated for January 31, 2011 at the New York Athletic Club.

With roots dating back to 1927, IOREBA is one of the nation's largest regional commercial real estate groups, growing to more than 300 members conducting business in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut. The organization has continually expanded its offerings, designing more useful programs, and teaming with co-hosts for several events to improve the networking environment. To assist members in difficult economic times, IOREBA has also cut costs for events and membership to ensure that members are able to take full advantage of everything the organization has to offer.
