    The plant science company utilized the Danforth Center's state-of-the-art facilities and expertise of the Plant Growth Facility's staff to research the fungi in order to develop its product aimed at increasing farm production and sustainability.

    The flourishing company is expected to more than double its revenue in 2014 and is planning to launch other commercial products in the market. SyMyco increased its staff by 60%, including hiring lab technicians from the St. Louis Community College's Center for Plant and Life Sciences bio-technician training program and are also currently reviewing expansion plans at BRDG Park for 2014.
