  • (1888PressRelease) October 03, 2015 - AUSTIN, Texas - A new rebrand, website and interactive film for nonprofit ReWork Project in Austin, Texas shows the impact that opportunity and work can have on changing the lives of homeless individuals.

The centerpiece of the campaign is the striking and unique interactive split screen film about a homeless person's current situation - and what it could be. Viewers can slide a center divider to reveal each side of the story while original music and SFX change depending on which side is viewed.

The dual film highlights just how narrow the margin for hope can be for many homeless individuals.

Three Austin creatives - art directors Sean Leonard and Ryan Landry and copywriter Dan Crumrine - teamed up on the project to raise awareness for the local charity. Also integral to the project were director Charles Mulford, developer Jenaro Diaz and photographer Homero Cavazos. The team all worked on the project outside of their current jobs in their spare time.

"Our goal was to raise the organization's profile by getting people to pay attention and inspiring them to act," Crumrine said.

"ReWork has a huge heart and hopefully now they'll have a presence to match," Leonard added. "We wanted to do for them what we do for clients on a daily basis. If anyone deserves it, it's them."

"This new rebrand and film mark an exciting time for our organization," ReWork Project Director Allison Eskew said, "We look forward to having the ability to expand and help even more people in our community."

The new brand officially launches October 1, 2015. See the film and learn more about ReWork Project at reworkproject.org.
