(1888PressRelease) December 15, 2016 - Sparks, MD, USA - IntelliTrack, Inc., the leader in intelligent inventory management software, announces the addition of smart grid technology to the Reservation feature in Stratus, its cloud-based software platform. The Reservation function now offers users the ability to "Browse Assets" using a smart grid view that displays asset details, including an asset thumbnail picture that can be expanded by hovering over the image. This smart grid technology allows users to search, sort, and reorder asset information to easily locate assets they want to reserve.

Reservations using the smart grid can also be made for a specific time frame. This feature is useful for same day reservations, allowing users to indicate the exact time of when the reservation will start and stop. As with other system transactions, Stratus maintains a full history of the Reservation functions that are performed for later reporting and auditing purposes.

Each Stratus customer can customize their account to either prevent or allow an asset to be checked out of the system when already part of an existing reservation in the system. Additionally, each customer can leverage the system's unique auto-numbering of Reservations, or input their own unique ID. A standard Reservation by Assignee report is included to allow users to view both past and future reservations. Finally, access to the Reservations feature can be securely controlled by the Stratus account administrator(s) and individual users can be granted or denied access to the feature.
