  • (1888PressRelease) July 14, 2011 - Queens, NY - Whether you have a job or you're in need of a job and no matter what you do, we all want a raise. If you feel undervalued at work, underpaid or just plain unnoticed, J. Scar's first video will let you know that someone understands.

No newcomer to writing music, J. Scar has been writing for the past several years. Using his Mac computer. The video was written, co-directed and produced by himself as well.

The video, "UnderPaid" is the story of, as J. Scar puts it, "A blue collar worker comes to work one day and go crazy and starts shouting for a raise because "he's overworked and Underpaid" ..that with the combination of family, friends, co-workers always complaining about work." The video has surprisingly good production quality considering it's DIY birth.

    J. Scar is not your typical rapper. He doesn't advocate violence or mistreatment of women, his music is inspirational without being "pushy". There are references to religious points, but he doesn't preach to you. His lyrics tell a definite story and his rhythm flows very smooth and cleanly.
