  • New York, NY (1888PressRelease) September 17, 2013 - After selling out its last Insight Innovation eXchange (IIeX) conference held in Philadelphia, the event series is expanding to Europe. IIeX Europe will be held in downtown Amsterdam on February 19th-20th, 2014. The conference will continue to focus on connecting client-side insights departments with the innovative solutions they need to make business impact. Registration and call for speakers are now open.

"Three things make the Insight Innovation eXchange truly different from other conferences. First, GreenBook works with advisors from global brands such as Unilever, Ericsson, Procter & Gamble, and Johnson & Johnson to develop an agenda that directly answers the needs of clients.

Second, we create an environment in which client-side stakeholders, market research firms, and technology providers from outside the marketing insights space can connect and do business.

And, third, we instill the cooperative spirit rather than the competitive spirit. This is evident in the topics of data philanthropy, adjacent partnerships, and non-traditional collaboration being much discussed, as well as in the business developments and partnerships we have seen come out of introductions made at IIeX," said Leonard Murphy, GreenBook Blog Editor-in-Chief.

The last Insight Innovation eXchange conference held in North America this past June welcomed hundreds of marketing and insights professionals. Twenty two technology startups presented their solutions in response to a crowdsourced initiative through which client organizations had the opportunity to submit their business challenges.

The conference also hosted the Insight Innovation Competition, whose mission is to help budding entrepreneurs bring disruptive ideas to life while connecting brands to fresh and untapped sources of competitive advantage through deeper consumer understanding.

"I am a fan of IIeX. My hope is that this will be a starting point for the market research industry to truly think differently and become the provocateurs and leaders we ought to be. The speed-dating sessions for new, innovative companies and buyers of research were extremely helpful for me as I was able to vet many companies in a very shot period of time. I left with a number of great contacts and new ideas as a direct result," said attendee Kyle Nel, International and Multicultural Research of Lowe's Home Improvement.

"It is time to be brave and courageous time to reinvent ourselves and our industry. If the nearly 500 people present at IIeX are leading that charge, I have no doubt that we will not only evolve, but transform ourselves. For the first time in over twenty years, I didn't feel overwhelmed by agencies at a conference (and yes, I felt some trepidation going in). The feeling I experienced was one of collaboration and shared goals--the clients, the agencies, the tech companies, and academia, all seeking that bright new future. The event was incredible," said attendee Lisa Courtade, Executive Director, Merck & Co., Inc.*

Following a conference model that has been deemed successful by previous IIeX attendees, the first Insight Innovation Exchange Europe will feature:
    • two fast-paced tracks
    • over 80 speakers
    • 70 presentations
    • hands-on workshops
    • networking events

Additionally, the event will host the Insight Innovation Challenge, presenting technology startups with new solutions to client challenges, and the Insight Innovation Competition through which the industry will judge innovative market research solution ideas based on their market potential.

The conference in Amsterdam will be followed by events in Santiago, Chile in April, Atlanta in June, and Singapore in September.
