Inroads To Opportunities Celebrated Different Abilities Field Day
Inroads To Opportunities, a Union County, NJ based non-profit human services agency that provides programs and services to individuals with disabilities, celebrated their second Annual Different Abilities Field Day in honor of Disability Pride Month at Roselle Borough Hall in Roselle, NJ.
- (1888PressRelease) July 26, 2025 - Roselle, NJ - This event kicked off in July in honor of Disability Pride Month. The Borough of Roselle partnered with Inroads to create an inclusive event that would embrace individuals of all ages from childhood and adolescence through adulthood. The mission was to host numerous field games and activities where all individuals can showcase their unique different abilities in a welcoming and inclusive space.
Disability Pride Month is observed in July to coincide with the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, which was signed into law on July 26, 1990. This month-long celebration emphasizes the strength, resilience, and achievements of the community, as well as fostering a more inclusive society.

Inroads is licensed by the State of New Jersey Department of Human Services, NJ Division of Mental Health, and Addiction Services to provide partial care and Division of Developmental Disabilities to provide Day Habilitation, Pre-Vocational and Transportation Services. Inroads is an approved Medicaid provider and an approved Employment Network under the Ticket to Work Social Security initiative and an approved Benefits Planning and Counseling Service through the NJ Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services.
