    Report survey results show EU and North America key target markets
    The survey of India gifts and premiums manufacturers featured in the Report shows:
    * 61 percent of makers plan to maintain quotes for the next six months;
    * 65 percent expect export sales to increase by up to 10 percent;
    * 52 percent will target the EU market, and 13 percent North America, and;
    * 26 percent of producers will focus on combining ethnic and modern elements, 22 percent on multifunction designs, and 22 percent on incorporating new components.

"A critical challenge facing the sector is the increasing cost of living, particularly in urban areas. This is driving up salaries. To cope, some manufacturers are subcontracting more processes."
