On December 11, 2012 IBcontacts company signed a Contract about Collaboration with the Export Credit Agency of Estonia KredEx Krediidikindlustus AS which opens new opportunities for Ukrainian and foreign companies within projects on attracting finance from this country. End Quote

(1888PressRelease) December 20, 2012 - This contract authorizes IBcontacts company to implement credit researches and assignment of credit ratings for Ukrainian borrowers, as well as for residents of European and CIS countries, aiming to attract trade and project finance from Estonia under the warranty of KredEx.

The trade and economic relations between Ukraine and Estonia are successful and stable. Ukraine increased its export volume to Estonia on 83.3% during nine months of 2012. The major export items to Estonia have been ferrous metals, fuel and railway locomotives. Although import volume from Estonia decreased slightly, for Ukraine it remains an important supplier of goods, demand on which domestic production can not cover, for example: fish and crustaceans, household chemistry, mineral fertilizers, plastics, cement, stone and plaster products, textiles, electrical machinery and equipment.

Estonian companies are surely interested in Ukrainian market, which is definitely considered as one of the most attractive owing to the potential of domestic market and its transit routes. Moreover, Estonian businessmen appreciate mental closeness of our countries and the absence of language barriers as a great advantage. Estonian investments in Ukraine are mainly focused on the development of high-tech industries. So, the main interest is concentrated on metallurgy, energy, pharmaceutical and food-processing industry, construction and real estate, as well as on information technologies and financial services.
