  • Santa Rosa, CA (1888PressRelease) January 30, 2014 - i2i Systems, the pioneer and leading provider of population health management and business intelligence solutions, is pleased to announce that i2iTracks 7.4 has been certified as a modular Electronic Health Record (EHR) solution for Meaningful Use Stage 2 with industry-leading Clinical Quality Measure (CQM) reporting capability.

As part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), eligible providers, including clinics, hospitals and physicians may receive financial incentives by demonstrating "meaningful use" of their Electronic Health Records. Organizations are required to use Certified EHR Technology and must demonstrate use of a qualified EHR in a meaningful manner. In Stage 2, providers must report on nine CQMs from three health care policy domains. There are a total of 64 CQMs across six domains.

"Being able to systematically report CQMs is critical for provider organizations," said Janice Nicholson, President and CEO of i2i Systems, "not only to take advantage of incentives from the Meaningful Use program, but also for long-term quality and pay-for-performance returns. We want to help providers systematically measure and improve care, and also capture revenue for high performance. Our Meaningful Use Stage 2 measure reporting will empower them with agile reporting and drill down to do this, ultimately leading to better reimbursement and financial health."

i2iTracks 7.4 has been tested and certified to calculate 41 ambulatory CQMs for Stage 2 reporting, joining the list of systems that may be used to support the application and award of financial incentives under Meaningful Use Stage 2. i2iTracks 7.4 is 2014 Edition compliant and has been certified as an EHR Module by an ONC‐ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services or guarantee the receipt of incentive payments.

i2i Systems was recognized as an early leader in Population Health Management (PHM) solutions in the 2013 KLAS Report, "Population Health Management 2013: Scouting the PHM Roster." i2iTracks, the flagship solution, is used today by more than 1,000 health centers, clinics, hospitals, and private physician practices in 34 states to proactively care for patient populations, and analyze and improve health outcomes. i2iTracks integrates data from EHRs, Practice Management (PM) systems, lab and pharmacy systems, immunization registries, and other systems, to help primary care teams manage population health, including chronic disease management and patient outreach for wellness and preventive care.
