  • (1888PressRelease) April 19, 2022 - Morning Lazziness is an online magazine dedicated to women. It showcases various articles such as entrepreneurial journeys, relationship guides, and write-ups revolving around sensitive matters concerning women.

In the last 2+ years, Morning Lazziness has tremendously grown as a digital magazine with more than 40,000+ monthly reads and a total of approx. 10 Lakhs reads so far.

Morning Lazziness is also the first digital magazine to publish the NFT Collection "Woman In Metaverse."

"Woman In Metaverse" (WiM), is the first female-themed NFT initiative that concentrates on a woman's individuality and wellbeing.

It's made up of a cast of meta characters who smile no matter what mood, situation, or job environment they're in. The meta identities represent the mindset that women must maintain throughout their lives to be strong and bold. Through this metaverse project, this digital magazine aims to represent the idea of women's empowerment.

We were fortunate to have Shruti Sood, the founder of Morning Lazziness with us for a very inspiring interview.
Talking about how important is woman’s individuality she said, “When we talk about Women's Empowerment, their individuality plays a crucial role for startups & businesses in entrepreneurship.
When I was a child, I found it confusing when people referred to married women as Mrs. followed by the surname of her husband. Now that I am older, I understand why they do it and have some questions that led me to wonder.”

She further added, “One's given name is a significant identifier of self. A name that comes with a prefix, such as "Er. or Dr.," provides the sense of being a respected person who has achieved something. Similarly, the surname provides another sense of respect, such as “Ambani or Bansal.

To be more clear, it's not just about the name they're calling you; it's what feeling you have when they call it out. Does that give you a sense of Pride? An individual identity? A name which is your own? It’s not just about the surname, but to keep it short, I have just taken this important reference.”

When asked about how women acknowledge their individuality in the current era, she said, “ Frankly speaking, I have seen women lacking their individuality. We often talk about women's empowerment and many of us are working towards it.

But the basics are also missing when it comes to women's empowerment. Women are often seen as secondary members of society & lack the same rights and respect. This can be seen in the fact that their names are often taken from their husbands or parents. “

She also said, “Unless women start to find their worth, they will never have a chance. If you don't love yourself, no one else will.”
Talking about how women should seek individuality, she further said, “Finding individuality doesn’t mean being an entrepreneur or being a political leader or a top corporate professional.

It means, finding your core competencies & inner self which gives you happiness through contributing something to society.

An individual's responsibility to her family is not just a woman's responsibility, it is universal across genders.

But when an individual adds value to a situation and does not live their life as a mother, wife, daughter, or relative, then their individuality matters. People look up to them for their potential, talent, and ability in such situations. This feeling is what boosts the person's self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-worth in such cases and leads to their happiness. ”

She concluded the interview by addressing the idea behind launching her very promising NFT collection- Women in Metaverse and said, “We are creating a space where the individuality of every woman will be valued.

We wanted to see smiles on each face, life is too short to not be happy. This could be probably the best face of women’s empowerment if we focus on the micro-level rather than the macro level.

Stay Happy and Spread Smile is the mantra ‘Woman In Metaverse’ (WiM) conveys through each digital avatar.”
