  • El Paso, TX (1888PressRelease) May 25, 2012 - Dick Poe Toyota Scion is proud sponsor of the Bulldog Brigade Memorial Association.

The Association is a charitable, non-profit organization dedicated to honoring those veterans and fallen Soldiers who have served with the 3rd Brigade, 1st Armored division at Fort Bliss in all combat campaigns as well as the Bulldog Families and Friends who support them.

White the Association is not affiliated with the Army. The purpose of this non-profit corporation is to raise funds in order to build, add onto and maintain a public memorial, and to hold memorial related events to honor all fallen 3/1 AD soldiers of all combat campaigns.
The 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division deployed to Afghanistan in Sept. 2011. The BBMA's goal is to have a memorial fully funded and built upon the brigade's homecoming with an unveiling and memorial ceremony tentatively scheduled for Sept.21, 2012 at Fort Bliss, Texas. The memorial will be a place to heal, to remember and to honor the Bulldog Brigade Fallen and their families and friends.

The BBMA is working with Fort Bliss officials and community leaders to designate a site for the 3/1 AD Memorial. Our preliminary design features a granite T-walls, pavers, rifle, boots and helmet statue. Further plans include a bronze bulldog, benches and a 3/1 AD patch integrated into the design. We need YOUR financial support to make this project a reality for the Bulldog Brigade.
