Holmeswood releases "Heart Of Gold (The All nighters Saloon Mix)" and "Heart Of Gold (Gold Mine Mix)" on October 26; both are reimagining of Neil Young's 1972 number-one single "Heart Of Gold". Written by Neil Young, the original folk-rock song featured Neil Young on vocals, guitar, and harmonica with James Taylor and Linda Ronstadt on backing vocals. These two new versions mark the second and third versions performed and released as a favorite "go to" song by Holmeswood. The first cover version was an electro-pop rock version released by Holmeswood with his successful 2015 eponymous album. The second to be released ("The All nighters Saloon Mix") was actually the first version of the song that Holmeswood recorded back in 2013 but was previously unreleased other than his featured live performance at the Sugarland Nightclub in Brooklyn during the summer of 2013. "The third and most recent version ("Gold Mine Mix") is an avant-garde 2018 metamorphosis; a fantastic evolution of sound fueled with all the angst and passion of the original while transcending to a new paradigm of ear candy with this timeless gem. Both mixes are the perfect friendly ghost haunts from the gold-mining days to livin' up your Halloween and 2018/19 party playlists."

"The All Nighters Saloon Mix" is a synth-pop dance version which was recorded, mixed and mastered in 2013 with The All Nighters production duo. The dance version features lead vocals and choruses by Holmeswood along with an original rap section written and performed by Holmeswood. The most recent "Gold Mine Mix" version is a soulful electronic R&B/Hip Hop version recorded with all new vocals by Holmeswood in 2018 along with brand new instrumentation and very rare Tuvan throat singing backing vocal samples. The "Gold Mine Mix" was arranged and produced by Argentinean pianist composer/producer Dario Boente (Antonio Sanchez, Ronny Jordan, Fernando Otero, Joshua Thompson, Pablo Asian, Mark Whitfield and others); and co-produced with Eric Jayk (Sandra Bernhard’s Rock Band and her off-Broadway Show, “Everything Bad, & Beautiful”, Wildstreet, Astra The 22s, and others).

Christopher Wood Holmes (a.k.a. ‘Holmeswood’,) is an American pop-rock singer/songwriter, actor, artist, director and producer of film and music videos. His first film appearance was in director Frank Oz’s 2004 remake of The Stepford Wives, starring Nicole Kidman, Glenn Close, Bette Midler and Christopher Walken. Next, he appeared in two episodes of Whoopi Goldberg’s sitcom Whoopi, followed by the lead role as a zombie slayer in Film Royale’s The Long Road to Gary, which premiered at the Village East Cinema in NYC as an Official Selection in the 2005 New York International Independent Film and Video Festival. After a bit part in Revolutionary Road, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet in 2009, he portrayed Corporate Agent Geryon alongside veteran actor and producer Lloyd Kaufman in his second Film Royale project Polypore, released in 2013.

Stay tuned . . . since the release of his debut album, Holmeswood has been in the studio working on remixes of the entire album being released as individual remix singles. The remixes along with corresponding artwork are presented in the original order which is clearly the artist's auto-biographical journey and exploration; each remix and artwork relating to the others to tell his story in cinematic fashion.

Both "Heart Of Gold (The All Nighters Saloon Mix)" and "Heart Of Gold (Gold Mine Mix)" are available on iTunes, https://store.cdbaby.com/ and all other major music platforms.
