  • (1888PressRelease) November 19, 2011 - HOLLYWOOD, CA - Co-hosted by Adam Gaynor (matchbox 20) and Suzan Brittan-Gault., One of the evening's highlights was SMOKEY ROBINSON accepting the HMMA Lifetime Achievement Award in front of a standing ovation chanting "Smokey, Smokey, Smokey!" The show included live performances by many nominees including Sonic Ashtanga, Vital, Ruby Summer, SJ, Queen Caveat and current media darlings, Sledge Grits.

    Guest presenters included actor Eric Roberts, showman Greg London, radio/TV host Sam Phillips, guitar hero Gilby Clarke, international star Anand Bhatt, and Oscar nominated and Grammy winning singer/songwriter Stephen Bishop.

    Winners for the night included: Original Score - Film Mark Isham (Warrior) The Best Soundtrack Album (The Muppets), Best song for a film went to Jason Mraz for "Collapsible Plan"from The Big Fix and Ron Jones won Best Score - TV for Family Guy.
