  • (1888PressRelease) September 04, 2014 - Mechanicsville, VA - What do tasty cocktails, beautiful models and VIP Realtors have in common? Not much - unless you happened to be hanging out at master-planned Rutland on Tuesday, August 19th. Renowned mid-Atlantic region homebuilder HHHunt Homes hosted local Realtors for its "Models & Martinis" VIP event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., to great success.

During the midday gathering at the builder's Pennington neighborhood, more than 50 guests enjoyed tours of its Grayson floorplan. They received information on additional available homesites, as well as the Hillcrest and Barrington floorplans. A model home for the Barrington is coming soon.

Guests indulged in refreshing watermelon martinis and noshed on hors d'oeuvres and decadent desserts by Cater 2 Events. They received gifts of logo cocktail charms, courtesy of HHHunt Homes. Cindy Strobel of Resource Realty Services won a $250 raffle.

In addition to its Rutland sales team, HHHunt Homes' lender partners also were on hand: Dwayne Smith and Philip McKenney with Wells Fargo; William Hendricks with Trust Mortgage Corp. and Amy Magorian with George Mason Mortgage, LLC.

"We thank the local Realtor community for joining us. The turnout was fantastic. The event was fun and informative, and we're seeing a great deal of interest in our activities within Rutland," said Jeri Copeland, new home sales executive for HHHunt Homes. "It's no surprise that HHHunt Homes already has a contract for one of the new Pennington homesites. Rutland is a highly popular development, so we don't expect to see the long-term availability of homes."

HHHunt Homes has made available seven new homesites, which are included in the total of 30 that remain in Pennington. A new section located to the back of the neighborhood, it is the final residential offering before the builder closes the community.

Homebuyer incentives include a savings of up to $10,000 at Pennington (select homesites), and up to $5,000 at Crofton at Rutland (community closeout). Eligible buyers may take advantage of USDA 100 percent financing. Buyers should contact an HHHunt Homes sales executive for current incentives for Rutland Village Townhomes, priced from the low $190s.

The Rutland Clubhouse and Information Center is located at 8400 Combs Drive in Mechanicsville. Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday; and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
