At just 14 years old, Helena Harris is anything but typical. Born in an era of electronic pop, Helena channels the sounds of FM rock radio artists from the 80’s and 90’s to craft her melodies and bring her songs to fruition. Inspired by artists from the MTV generation; AC/DC, Queensryche and Motley Crue to name a few, Helena uses that inspiration to craft what she feels, and the music she hears, through the art of songwriting.

Helene’s debut release titled “Love is Your Weakness” was recorded at West Valley Recording Studios; a legendary studio that has produced works for artists including Bon Jovi and Halestorm among others. The recorded single rivals the works of modern rock artists like Paramore and includes performances by chart topping musicians including drummer Les Warner (The Cult), guitarist Rick Steier (Kingdom Come, Warrant) and bassist Rudy Sarzo (Ozzy Osbourne, Quiet Riot). The single is produced by Mike Plotnikoff, the engineer behind iconic recordings from a multitude of cornerstone rock legends including Van Halen, Aerosmith and Halestorm.  

“Love Is Your Weakness” offers a teaser for what’s to come as Helena is in the process of writing and recording her multi-song release; working toward an EP and assembling the line-up that fans will see live on stage. The song is being played on select FM Rock Radio stations around the US including 97Underground in Baltimore who broke the single on Labor Day weekend with repeated airplay and extremely positive listener response.
