  • New York, NY (1888PressRelease) November 09, 2013 - Nore Davis returns to New York City's premiere comedy The New York Comedy Club for a 1 night only show "An Hour of Intimacy with Nore Davis" Friday, November 22nd at 11:00 p.m.

    In the upcoming special at the world famous New York Comedy Club, Nore will regale the audience with stories about going to school in Brooklyn while learning to navigate through the delicate world of hipsters, dating in the Instagram world with his newly found celebrity, and the awkwardness of sex. He takes viewers on a hilarious journey of some of life's hardest but funniest experiences, including his battle with Sickle Cell Anemia or more so, his battle over the hospital bills due to his Sickle Cell and discovering what a gluten allergy is (he still doesn't really know). The special will also include opening guest Pheobe Robinson of MTV'S hit show Girl Code fame and Hadiyah Robinson most recently seen on BET's Comic View, BET's One Mic Stand and The Mo'Nique Show.

    Leading up to his performance, the Nore Davis Web site (www.NoreDavis.com) will feature clips from past shows alongside never before seen footage.

    Nore's work has earned him much critical praise, including a feature in The New Yorker and Time Out New York on their "Best Thing To Do" issue. Nore has been keeping busy in the television world and was most recently seen starring on HBO'S hit series "Boardwalk Empire", Comedy Centrals "The Ruckas" "opposite veteran comedy funny man and writer JB Smooth and executive producer Russell Simmons (Co-founder of Def Jam and founder of Phat Farm, Argyle-Culture, American Classics) and being a reoccurring member of MTV's "Nikki and Sara Live". Next, he will take part of the highly anticipated revamp of "BET Comic View 2014" which he share the stage with the likes of one of the queens of comedy herself, Sommore, Mike Epps, and DeRay Davis. Additionally, Nore is developing a comedic series entitled "Takin' Shots" with music and film Entrepreneur Anthony Fate Lynch and film and television executive Gary Needle.
