HawkEye LPS has partnered with LaneHawk to bring an improved loss prevention system to the grocery industry. It solves bottom of the basket shrink for grocers by photographing items on the bottom of the basket and then communicating with the POS system in real time. The cashier must then accept or reject the transaction to proceed. This simple process stops bottom of the basket loss or shrink.
