  • Philadelphia, PA-NJ (1888PressRelease) July 19, 2013 - Havis Inc., an ISO 9001:2008 certified company, recently announced that their new Docking Station for the Panasonic Toughpad FZ-G1 is available for pre-order sales. They have been working with Panasonic to design this docking station, which was made specifically for the Windows-based 10 inch tablet.

This Toughbook Certified docking station provides proper docking and connectivity to all configurations of the Toughpad FZ-G1, and easily allows for tablet upgrades. The full configuration of the Toughpad FZ-G1 features an optional smart card reader, thicker depth and an optional extended battery. The normal and full configurations both offer an optional hand strap.

Coming this summer, the docking station will include models with a dual high-gain antenna to improve range and Lind power supply with a connector tip and customized cord length. The product series from Havis will also offer a mount-only version without the included electronics of a docking station.

The docking station models utilize recessed port replication to offer connection to vital peripherals, while also providing protection to cable connections as well as relieving strain to prevent accidental disconnections. These models support fully-powered USB 3.0 and are made with the best-in-class circuitry. Because its mounting base fits the universal VESA 75mm hole pattern, the Docking Station for the Panasonic Toughpad FZ-G1 is compatible with a variety of existing mounts.

To help maximize productivity in mobile offices, Havis built this durable and lightweight docking station with stability, longevity and theft prevention in mind. The Havis Docking Station for the Panasonic Toughpad FZ-G1 is going through extensive quality testing to meet and surpass the requirements of Panasonic's Toughbook Certification. This testing ensures that the tablet will remain mounted through rough driving conditions and work environments. The quality testing includes: in-vehicle crash simulations, extreme durability testing, MIL-STD 810G vibration testing, and extensive cycle testing.
