Attendees had the opportunity to browse through a selection of new models from marques including Jaguar, Land Rover, Hyundai, Nissan, Peugeot and Volvo, with illustrious models including the Jaguar F-TYPE and the all-new Range Rover Sport on display.

Chloe Gerber, Group Marketing Manager for Taggarts Motor Group, said: "We're delighted to be supporting Hamilton Park Racecourse as lead sponsor for Taggarts Motor Group Scottish Trophy Day. We know that many race fans are also very interested in and knowledgeable about motoring, and we look forward to meeting them on the day to discuss some of the latest cars we have on the market."

Hamilton Park Chief Executive Vivien Kyles added: "Having Taggarts Motor Group, a major name of the Scottish motoring industry, on board as sponsor is a coup for the racecourse and just the latest commercial supporter for the business this season."

Gates opened at 12.10pm and the first of seven races was at 2.10pm.
