  • (1888PressRelease) November 28, 2013 - Turners Falls, MA - Hallmark Institute of Photography is proud to announce that the students and employees have begun collecting toys for the Toys for Tots program founded by the United States Marine Corps. In addition, beginning Monday, December 2nd, community members are invited to help the needy children in the area by bringing their own donation to this year's collection.

    "Toys for Tots helps thousands of underprivileged children in our community. They get to experience the joy of the Christmas holiday by opening Christmas gifts," said Shelley Nicholson, this year's volunteer coordinator. "Everyone here at Hallmark, is honored to be a small part of this grand tradition".

    Anyone interested in donating should drop off any NEW & UNWRAPPED toys and/or NEW & UNWRAPPED age-appropriate books at Hallmark's Administrative Office Building, located at 241 Millers Falls Road in Turners Falls, Massachusetts. The office will be open for collections between the hours of 8 am - 5 pm (Monday - Friday). Hallmark will be collecting toys up through the close of business on Monday, December 16th.

    The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is a not-for-profit organization authorized by the U.S. Marine Corps and the Department of Defense to provide fundraising and other necessary support for the annual U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program.
