  • (1888PressRelease) February 28, 2012 - Gymfinity of Fitchburg Wi donated over 500 pounds of food to the Verona Food Pantry Drive. Gymfinity raised the donation during theStar Invite Gymnastics Meet. This is Gymfinity's 3rd year of making their home meet a food drive for the Verona Food Pantry. Over the past 3 years the donations total over 1,000pounds of food to help the Verona Food Pantry meet the needs of many local residents.

The Meet was held November 5th and 6th at the Gymfinity complex. The gymnastics competition had over 450 participants from all corners of the state. The gymnasts were from 5 years old to high school age, competing at levels 3 to 6.

USA Gymnastics levels start at 1 and go up to 10. Level 10 is the highest level a gymnast can attain before becoming "Elite" level which allows national and international competition.

The Star Invite Gymnastics Meet helped determine who qualified for the USA Gymnastics State Meet. This year's Wisconsin Gymnastics Championships are being held December 3rd and 4th at the West Allis Central High School.

Gymfinity wishes to congratulate all of the competitors who participated in the Star Invite Gymnastics Meet. We also wish good luck to all of the competitors at this year's State Championships.

Gymfinity extends a special "thank you" for all those who brought donations for the Verona Food Pantry making our Home Meet such a success.
