    About John Fahr, Ph.D.
    John Fahr is a Director at Resolution Economics, LLC, an economic consulting firm with offices in Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, D.C., and New York.

    Dr. Fahr has conducted statistical analyses covering all aspects of employment discrimination cases, including compensation, hiring, promotion, termination. His work focuses on the construction and analysis of large, complex databases using economic and statistical techniques, as well as calculating damages and providing on-going monitoring of employment decisions. Dr. Fahr also has extensive experience in the application of statistical techniques to FLSA wage and hour cases. His clients include Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and single-plaintiffs.     Gurkan is a Director at Resolution Economics’ Washington DC office. He received his Ph.D. in Labor Economics from The George Washington University and has taught at Georgetown University’s McCourt Public School of Public Policy.

    He conducts economic and statistical analysis for employment discrimination cases, EEOC investigations, FLSA wage and hour matters, affirmative action issues as well as environmental justice cases brought under Title VI.

    He has assisted private and public-sector clients during various phases of the legal process including class certification, settlement, and damage calculations. He also conducted proactive analyses of race and gender in college acceptance decisions and in employment decisions (such as compensation, performance evaluation, and selections).

    Previously, he analyzed market timing and late trading in mutual funds, investigated state taxation of businesses, and built dynamic labor force simulation models for collective bargaining agreements.
