    Event Synopsis:
On July 12 2016, the European Commission formally approved and adopted the EU-US Privacy Shield, providing a new compliance framework for U.S. organizations to protect the personal data of European citizens. The privacy shield is a critical tool that allows U.S. organizations to import personal data from Europe while giving EU citizens greater privacy protections and the ability to file suit in U.S. courts. However, there are many significant details that U.S. businesses must be aware of in order to avoid potential risks and threats.
In a two-hour LIVE Webcast, a panel of key thought leaders organized by The Knowledge Group will discuss the significant issues on the EU-US Privacy Shield. They will also provide a roadmap on how to apply for Privacy Shield self-certification.
