  • (1888PressRelease) April 16, 2013 - One-To-Zero (OTZ) Health Education Systems (www.otzhealthed.com), founded by internationally renowned chiropractor Dr. Francis X. Murphy, has announced that it will return to Canada throughout the remainder of 2013 to continue holding seminars teaching the OTZ Tension Adjustment Curriculum. The first Canadian OTZ seminar took place in Toronto, March 23-24, with the remaining two scheduled to take place in conjunction with the Edmonton Chiropractic Society in Alberta, June 1-2 and September 21-22, 2013. OTZ has previously hosted seminars in the US, UK, Paris and Brazil.

Hatcher-Murphy Disorder (HMD) is a manifestation or dysfunction of the tissues involving the brainstem and the spinal accessory nerve or cranial nerve 11. Manifestation of HMD in children can result in an Autism, Asperger's, ADD or ADHD diagnosis, along with many other behavioral and developmental disorders. HMD in adults can show through Frozen Shoulder Syndrome, Migraines, Insomnia, Bell's palsy, Tic disorders and many other illnesses. OTZ trains medical doctors, chiropractors, orthopedic surgeons, osteopaths, and anesthesiologists to use its proven, non-surgical diagnosis and treatment to relieve the conditions that cause HMD in children and adults.

The OTZ acronym represents binary code, and symbolizes turning "the switch" in a patients neurological system on, from its previously held off position, in the remedy of HMD. According to Dr. Murphy, the reason he started OTZ Health Education Systems was to "Train more doctors to resolve what could be six to nine million HMD cases in the United States alone." Dr. Murphy adds, "My staff and I have successfully applied the OTZ Method to more than 1000 patients in my Dallas clinic. We regularly see patients from all over the United States and many other countries. This effective treatment can be and must be more broadly available, and that's why OTZ is here."

OTZ Health Education Systems regularly holds events and seminars at Parker University in Dallas, TX. Dr. Murphy was recently a featured presenter at the Parker University Adjust-a-thon, an annual event held to educate the community about the benefits of chiropractic care. His research findings were also recently published in the December 2012 Edition of The Journal of Chiropractic Medicine.
