Greater Raleigh NAWBO Offers a Cooking-Class Dinner Party for August 2014 Mentoring Workshop

  • Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) August 09, 2014 - Erin Cohen, President of National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Greater Raleigh, announced that NAWBO will host a cooking-class dinner party in Raleigh, North Carolina on August 19th. The three-hour workshop, will include both a cooking class and a dinner party led by Chef Pam Clark of the Thyme Savor, will be held at The Kitchen of Jean Ehmke, 516 Pendleton Lake Rd. in Raleigh from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Cost for this workshop is $30 for members and Community Partners and $40 for non-members.

    Chef Pam Clark, will lead participants in creating a delicious summer meal featuring appetizers, salads, a main course and dessert. A preview of the menu includes:

    • Shrimp Salsa, Spanakopitas, and a Savory Herbed Tomato Tart
    • Panzanella Salad, Summer Corn Salad with Cotija Cheese, and Raspberry Spinach Salad
    • A main course of Lime Marinated Chicken
    • Mojito Fruit with a Basil simple syrup for dessert.

    About Pam Clark
    After earning her degree from Virginia Tech in Foods and Nutrition, Chef Pamela's culinary journey began in 1988 in Boston as a custom caterer. Several years later her family moved to Baltimore where she continued her custom catering business and began servicing corporate clients. In 2002 her family made a second move to the warmer climate of Raleigh, North Carolina. In Raleigh she acquired her certification as a personal chef. After her first six months as a personal chef she decided to incorporate her catering and culinary instruction with her personal chef skills. The Thyme Savor is the result of Chef Pamela's hard work and dedication to her passion, food.

    Chef Pamela is also a recipe developer and educator of fresh herbs.
