  • Lansing-East Lansing, MI (1888PressRelease) September 10, 2011 - The Greater Lansing Housing Coalition (GLHC) is showcasing the beautiful homes of the Whitehills Woods neighborhood in their 16th Annual Home Tour. The Home Tour will be held Saturday, Sept. 18, 2011 from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. Tickets are $25 and proceeds will benefit the GLHC's mission to improve the quality of living for our Greater Lansing residents who need it most.

    Attendees will have the opportunity to tour five beautiful homes in this lovely neighborhood. Featured homes include those of the Berardo Family, King Family, Hildorf Family, Schick Family and Pirich Family. Each of these unique homes are not typically accessible to the public, and this is an opportunity for Greater Lansing residents with an eye for style and heart for charity to view home craftsmanship at its finest.

    Parking will be free along the streets of the neighborhood and near the information booths. The event is sponsored by many local businesses, including King Media, a marketing and public relations agency based out of East Lansing, King Custom Homes, Anderson Economic Group, Professional Party Planner Teresa Barcy, Redwood Landscaping, Tunde Rigel Design, KMG, Mourer Foster, Personal Trainer Mary Beth Pirich, Lansing City Pulse, Yeo & Yeo, Timber Ridge Assisted Living, Williams Auto World, Dart Bank, Lynne VanDeventer of Coldwell Banker Hubbell BriarWood and Advanced Imaging.

    The GLHC uses funds from this and other fundraisers to support their many initiatives that support and improve the Greater Lansing community. They are dedicated to their mission of helping the community to prosper by providing quality housing assistance for all, revitalizing neighborhoods and empowering residents through education and counseling.
