  • (1888PressRelease) November 20, 2010 - The largest infrastructure event in Lagos will be opened and attended by H.E. Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), Governor, Lagos State Government.

    The event is endorsed by Lagos State Government and will be officially hosted by H.E. Babatunde Raji Fashola who will welcome Ministers and key decision makers of the Nigerian infrastructure sector to discuss current developments and future opportunities in the country. Governor Fashola will lead the Lagos delegation and discuss the need for green-lit infrastructure projects and how they will directly impact the national economy.

    H.E. Arc Nuhu Wya, Minister of State for Power is set to deliver an update on power sector reform and government plans for realising power projects through privatisation of the power sector.
    H.E. Dr Shamsuddeen Usman, National Minister of Planning will address national vision 2020 and the first national implementation plan: opportunities for investment in infrastructure.

    H.E. Rt Hon Gabriel Torwua Suswan, Executive Governor, Benue State Government will discuss the role of the state to engage investors and the challenges and the opportunities and H.E. Chief Ernest Shonekan, GCFR, CBE is set to present a special welcome address to the ICRC-hosted private public partnerships seminar. Dame Aleruchi Cookey-Gam JP, Administrator, Greater Port Harcourt City Development Authority will address investing in infrastructure and how it represents the key to accelerating economic development.

    Nigeria Infrastructure Conference, to be held on 23-25 November 2010 is an essential forum for international investors to gain insight into the current infrastructure developments in Nigeria.
