  • Dallas, TX (1888PressRelease) November 26, 2013 - Gone to the Dogs: Angel Tree Benefits Several Local Animal Shelters & Rescues

Paws Dog Barkery announces an Angel Tree for Dogs. The boutique and barkery has two locations; the original location in Plano at the SW Corner of Custer and Parker in the Custer Park Shopping Center, and the Frisco location which opened in May located SE Corner of Preston and Lebanon in the Frisco Village Shopping Center. Paws is hosting the Third Annual Angel Tree for Dogs to benefit City of Plano Animal Services, Collin County Animal Services, Collin County Humane Society and The Colony Animal Services.

All of these organizations are staffed by outstanding animal control officers and could not be successful without the hundreds of volunteers who provide assistance. These shelters have selected five items that they need on a regular basis from the store that can be purchased and donated all in one place. Some of the items include: dog food, antlers for chewing, holiday mint toys, and of course dog treats from the bakery. The angel tree program will also be happy to take any crates, blankets or monetary donations.

"With the success we had during the first two years of our Angel Tree for Dogs, we couldn't wait to help out more worthy organizations", said Jeffrey Rottman, Chief Operating Officer & Founder, "it's such a fun and unique way to help all of the animals who don't have a home for the holidays and make them feel special, too." The Angel Tree Program will run through 12/21/2013, and the highlight of the program will be a Holiday Open House at both locations on 12/14/2013 where the focus is all about the dogs. With appetizers, wine, silent auction and adoptions, it will be the place to be to support your local rescue.
