Goldson Corporation Limited to invest $25million into Indian Renewable Energy project
KOWLOON - Goldson Corporation Limited today announced that they will invest a minimum of $25million into a solar renewable energy project in India.
- (1888PressRelease) February 10, 2023 - The Indian Government, along with representatives from Goldson Corporation Limited signed an agreement to assist India to increase its power generation capacity through cleaner and renewable energy sources and the ultimate aim is to achieve 500 giga-watts (GW) of clean, green and renewable energy by the end of 2030 in order to tackle the challenges of climate change.
Goldson Corporation Limited’s Chief Technology Officer commented on the investment saying “India’s transition to renewable energy is one of the most critical transitions for its future and we are committed to supporting India and many more developing nations during this transition. We believe that this project will bring in international experience in deploying new technologies to assist India into adopting cleaner and renewable energy fuels.”
Goldson Corporation Limited’s Chief Technology Officer also added “Currently, India has the capability to produce a capacity of more than 409 GW, of which the renewable energy (non-hydro) share is almost 29 percent (119.5 GW) and this project will help India’s progress towards the nation having sustainable universal electricity access, which is an important step for achieving economic development objectives.
