  • (1888PressRelease) February 13, 2012 - Dedicating your life to God is no easy feat. But for music artist GodsWriter, there's no difficulty. He does music for himself but he does it ultimately, for God.

Born Olanrewaju Timothy Osinowo II in Ijebuode and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, GodsWriter's musical inklings began even as a young boy. At 12, he relocated with his family to Houston, Texas. Talk about a change of pace, a change of lifestyle, a change of everything - and yet, GodsWriter's passion was the same: He was to make music.

At 15, GodsWriter dabbled in writing poetry. 'I wrote about anything from material things, to lust, pride, et cetera', he shares. In 2003, GodsWriter re-dedicated his life to God, to be used to the fullness of God's glory. 2009 was the year that GodsWriter released his album titled 'Declare'. Tracks like '2 Da Sky', 'I Live,' 'Incredible', 'Curtain Call', and 'Letter 2 Da Soul' made listeners understand not to compromise themselves and that they're worthy in the eyes of God. GodsWriter's music has been heard all over the world. He has been touring constantly and has shared his Christ-centered rap music in Japan, Belize, Kuwait, Australia, to Trinidad. You listen to GodsWriter, you feel as if blessed too. With his talent and love for Christ, many churches and organizations have invited him to perform and even teach people. GodsWriter has always been appreciative of the opportunities that came his way.

In 2010, GodsWriter returned to the studio and tinkered with what was to be his second album, 'The Awakening', now ready for public consumption. GodsWriter communicates the message of hope, salvation, restoration, and purpose through his music. 'Let us not remain content with being blessed by the word of God, but see that we are also being a blessing to others with the word of God.'

GodsWriter is continuously pressing on with his rap music ministry. Currently, he preaches and teaches the word of the Lord at the The Redeemed Christian Church of God - Dominion Chapel. He is the HOD of the Torch Drama Ministry. He is also actively involved in different community projects within the Houston, Sugar Land area. 'I know that without God, I am nothing,' he declares.
