Globe Pedallers' Travels The World In Tour De Monde To Raise Funds For Sustainability In Nepal
Globe Pedaller's is traveling around the world, on bicycle, to raise funds for Upside. Ricardo Abdalla and Richard Murray are traveling the world in 4 stages and are currently in New York, ready to depart on leg 2.
- (1888PressRelease) September 18, 2013 - Perth, Australia - Globe Pedallers is traveling the world to support and raise funds for Upside, a not-for-profit focused on helping villages in Nepal develop community-owned agricultural businesses. The project:Makai Khola Citrus Orchard will aid in improving health, education and economic development in Makai Khola, a village 40 km east of the city of Pokhora, through investment in a community-owned citrus orchard whose profits will support a new village health service, school boarding house and community hall.
Ricardo Abdalla and Richard Murray will be travelling around the world in 4 stages, on bicycles across Europe, United States, New Zealand and Asia, totaling over 20,000 km in an effort to raise money for this great cause. All funds raised during their journey will directly support the Makai Khola Citrus Orchard project.
