  • (1888PressRelease) March 28, 2012 - GILLARD SAS of France, a recognised specialist in equipment for the treatment of waste products, is launching a new range of compactors - the Monobloc V-1 and the PAKTOR I-3. GILLARD is looking for a distributor in the UK, who will be able to offer the company's innovative and economical range of compactors to British-based end-users.

The advantages of GILLARD's range are manifold. First of all, GILLARD offers a complete range of compactors meeting the needs of players across all sectors of the market. Second, GILLARD's equipment has a proven track record: the company offers products that are solid and reliable. Third, GILLARD prides itself on the fact that it offers the latest-generation, innovative compactors on the market. Finally, the GILLARD range is particularly cost-effective, given the characteristics of the equipment developed by the specialist company, which is competitively priced.

GILLARD is now looking for a distributor in the British market, with whom to initiate a long-term partnership. The UK-based representative of GILLARD will be able to take care of the marketing of the company's product range; to oversee the installation of the equipment at client sites (to the benefit of the end-user); and, finally, to ensure the proper maintenance of the equipment.

Developed by GILLARD, the Monobloc V-1 compactor offers a number of advantages, as follows. To start with, the Monobloc V-1 relies on patented technology, i.e. a patented system of V jacks affording better compaction and improved reliability. Besides, thanks to this system of V jacks, the compactor, which is of the same length as a traditional compactor, offers a capacity of 24 cubic metres, i.e. about 20% more capacity than a traditional compactor - a feature that makes the Monobloc V-1 particularly economical.

Since the V-1 is, in part, manufactured by a robotized production line, its manufacturing cost is lower, and this ensures that it is competitively priced. Last but not least, the V-1 compactor can be made attractive and distinctive (with corporate external markings, for instance), thus enhancing the image of the service provider or end-user.

GILLARD's PAKTOR I-3 stationary compactor, for its part, belongs to a range of patented compactors offering considerable advantages, as compared to traditional fixed units. The PAKTOR I-3 compactors are shorter in length, which makes it possible to reduce the size of the site required by the end-user to operate the equipment. This feature brings added benefits, such as easier handling and a cut in construction costs.

The PAKTOR I-3 is a patented compaction system based on aligned jacks (and not crossed jacks), which raises the compaction rate and improves, as a result, reliability and service life. Over time, this also cuts maintenance costs.

The PAKTOR I-3 is the only short-length compactor, with aligned jacks, currently available on the European market, which offers all the advantages of in-line and crossed jacks without the disadvantages of either of the two systems (as can be found in similar compactor units).

GILLARD's aim has been to offer a range of waste compactors meeting the latest market requirements and presenting clients with innovative solutions. In some cases, such solutions actually constitute a clean break with traditional practices and technologies - something GILLARD is well placed to achieve, thanks to its emphasis on research and development.

GILLARD's determined drive towards innovation has been accompanied by significant investment in buildings and equipment - from new premises and a new painting cabin to the introduction of an advanced welding robot. The company's aim, all along, has been to continuously raise the quality of its products as well as improve their competitiveness in the marketplace.

For over 30 years, GILLARD has been a specialist in the design, manufacturing and maintenance of equipment for the treatment of waste. Wishing to expand its market share, GILLARD has, for the past three years, concentrated its efforts on a programme of R&D focused on innovative waste compactors, with a view to exporting them to countries such as Britain.

GILLARD's distributor for the British market will have a range of innovative and cost-effective products to offer to clients, enabling him (or her) to increase sales and profitability quickly. GILLARD is continuously working on the development of next-generation products and technologies in its field, which offers added growth perspectives.
