  • New York, NY (1888PressRelease) July 04, 2018 - On August 12, 2018, New York City is going to the dogs. Top Dog Pet Travel, a full-service travel agency specializing in travel with pets, and New York City based Z Travel and Leisure, are teaming up for a pet friendly bus tour of iconic NYC, including traveling back in time to discover the history surrounding Alexander Hamilton and his contemporaries, Burr, Washington and Jefferson, in Old New York. A portion of ticket sales will benefit Yorkie911, a Yorkie and small breed dog rescue and adoption group in North Babylon NY.

The tour will depart at 9 AM from the front of the New Yorker Hotel, located at 481 5TH Ave, and will return to the hotel to drop off passengers at 2 PM. All well-behaved canines and their humans are invited to experience the fun and excitement of this unique event lead by WVOX Radio personality and NYC historian Art Zuckerman, host of the weekly radio show, “Z Travel and Leisure.” Highlights will include iconic NYC landmarks within driving distance of Midtown plus 18th Century Landmarks frequented by Alexander Hamilton, enhanced by the sound track of the award-winning Broadway Musical “Hamilton” throughout the tour. Brunch at Historic Pete’s Tavern is included. Pete’s Tavern features outdoor pet friendly seating, a fabulous menu and your choice of an alcoholic beverage included in the tour. There will be ample opportunities for photo ops with your furry companion and an optional shopping spree drop-off at pet friendly Macy’s or Bloomingdale’s.

The Doggie Tour of New York City is the Grand Finale of 3 days of haute canine couture runway competition at the Fifth Annual International Cotillion, one of the premier events in the world of designer canine fashion. Doggie Tour participants don’t have to attend the Cotillion to ride the bus.
