George Strait made the announcement last year that he was finally hanging up his tour bus keys after a massive farewell tour. Strait has just announced his final dates of 2014 and the last stop is at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough!
Strait will be brining the "Cowboy Rides Away Tour" to Gillette Stadium on May 31, 2014, show kicks off at 3:30pm. It has been announced that each week Strait will feature a country superstar that will be joining him onstage, including Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Sheryl Crow, Ronnie Dunn, Vince Gill, Merle Haggard, Lee Ann Womack, Miranda Lambert and Chris Young!
During the press conference George discussed how this tour will be bittersweet:
"It's gonna be a little bittersweet for me, It's starting to sink in now after the first leg of the tour … it's sinking in a little more and more every day."
"My plan is to keep doing things here and there when I feel like it … I can't see hanging it up for good, ever," he adds. "As long as I'm enjoying it, I'm gonna keep doing it."
