Generous Donation from Unity One and Divine Deliverance Ministries to Living Advantage, Inc.'s Foster Youth
Unity One and Divine Deliverance Ministries have made a generous donation of athletic shoes to the foster youth of Living Advantage, Inc.
- Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) March 29, 2014 - Living Advantage, Inc. is thrilled to announce the recent gift of 200 pairs of athletic shoes donated to our foster youth from the Unity One Foundation and Divine Deliverance Ministries. The shoes are by the company Unequal and they come in three great colors that the foster youth of Living Advantage, Inc. will love.
Living Advantage, Inc. sends a sincere thank you to Cornell Ward, the executive director of the Unity One Foundation. This organization is focused on promoting peace, love and respect in Los Angeles County. Unity One's goal is to assist community development by cultivating relationships with its citizens. Living Advantage, Inc. is so excited that Unity One is able to support foster youth, while fulfilling the goal of promoting well-being in the Los Angeles community. Unity One has supported Living Advantage in the past and we look forward to continuing to work with them.

In doing this, Unity One provides Community Conflict Resolution as well as a Community Reentry Program for ex-offenders. They also partner in Project Save, which offers an inter-neighborhood sports league, and they also host the Niche Leadership Skills Curriculum, which consists of 10 lessons on relationships, responsibility and problem solving.

Pastor Melvin H. King founded the Divine Deliverance Ministries in 2010 and continues to preach at their weekly worship service on Sunday mornings at the Audubon Middle School in Los Angeles, CA.
