G12 Digital Releases 2026 UAE Digital Marketing Trends Report Highlighting AI Growth, Rising Ad Costs, and Arabic Search Opportunities

Dubai agency shares insights from client campaigns and industry data showing how UAE businesses are adapting to a changing digital landscape.
- (1888PressRelease) June 25, 2026 - DUBAI, UAE: G12 Digital, a digital marketing agency based in Barsha Heights, Dubai, has released its 2026 UAE Digital Marketing Trends Report, highlighting key changes shaping how businesses attract customers online. The report combines insights from G12 Digital’s work with businesses across the UAE along with global advertising and marketing research. It highlights five major areas influencing online growth, including increasing advertising costs, the growing role of artificial intelligence, and the opportunity for businesses to better connect with Arabic speaking audiences.
“Businesses in the UAE are operating in one of the most competitive digital markets. Advertising costs continue to rise, especially in industries where every customer has high value,” said Muhammad Sarfaraz, Digital Marketing Head at G12 Digital. “The companies seeing better results are not always the ones with the biggest budgets. They are the ones that understand their audience, create relevant campaigns, and adapt to how people search today.”
Key Findings From The Report
Legal and real estate continue to be among the most competitive advertising industries : WordStream's 2026 Google Ads Benchmarks report, Attorneys & Legal Services posted the highest average cost-per-click of any industry measured, at $9.87, more than double the $5.42 cross-industry average; Real Estate also saw the steepest year-over-year CPC increase of any category, up 27.27%.
G12 Digital has observed similar trends across its UAE based campaigns, particularly in industries where businesses compete for high value enquiries. The agency says campaign structure, audience targeting, and ongoing optimisation play a major role in controlling costs and improving results.
UAE digital ad spend is accelerating faster than the global average.
The UAE's digital advertising market is projected to reach $2.64 billion in 2026, growing 15.2% annually, according to a market report from ResearchAndMarkets.com. G12 Digital says this growth is especially visible in sectors such as real estate, business services, and professional services, where companies are investing more in online channels to reach potential customers
Artificial intelligence is becoming part of everyday marketing
About 94% of marketers plan to use AI in their content creation processes in 2026, according to HubSpot's State of Marketing Report 2026, with over 80% already using AI for content creation per HubSpot's State of Generative AI Report. G12 Digital believes AI can help marketers work more efficiently, but human input remains important. The agency says businesses still need strong messaging, market understanding, and creativity to produce campaigns that connect with customers.
Arabic-language search presents a major opportunity
With a diverse population and a large Arabic speaking audience, the UAE offers significant opportunities for businesses that create content beyond English only campaigns. G12 Digital says this gap is one of the most consistent and correctable issues it identifies when auditing new client accounts, and one of the highest-leverage fixes available to UAE advertisers in 2026.
According to multiple UAE SEO sources, between 25% and 50% of all search traffic in the UAE is conducted in Arabic, yet the majority of businesses have zero Arabic presence in search results. G12 Digital says this gap is one of the most consistent and correctable issues it identifies when auditing new client accounts.
Better campaign management is becoming more important
WordStream's 2026 benchmarking shows that Attorneys & Legal Services commands the highest average cost-per-click among industries measured at $9.87. While the 2026 WordStream report does not specify a legal-sector cost-per-lead figure, industry data indicates that legal-sector CPLs are significantly above the cross-industry average of $66.69. Based on its own client portfolio, the agency has seen that businesses in legal, real estate, and business setup categories can face the opposite challenge when campaigns are not structured correctly. Poorly managed campaigns can result in a significant portion of advertising spend being used before a single quality lead is generated. G12 Digital believes the difference in ROI between businesses operating in the same industry is often driven by campaign strategy, account structure, and ongoing optimisation rather than budget size.
For businesses in competitive UAE sectors, 2026 is the year where strategy matters more than spend. The companies that invest in Arabic search, AI-enhanced workflows, and rigorous campaign management will see their ROI compound — those that don't will watch their ad costs rise without the leads to show for it.
Why this matters now
The findings arrive as UAE business formation and freezone activity continue to expand, intensifying competition in some of the country's most expensive ad categories. G12 says agencies and in-house teams that fail to adapt to AI-driven search, Arabic-first content, and tighter account management will see rising costs without corresponding growth in leads.
