Multi-cultural and multi-lingual, 320Reality provides a positive online venue for social entrepreneurs around the world, allowing them to hear about other's ideas directly through videos, interact with one another, vote on the best ideas, and support one another in efforts toward peace and development.

    Spokesperson Aaida Mamuji says, "320Reality is similar to an online pitchfest. Its intention is to generate innovative and practical ideas to meet the Middle East's challenges. It's also designed bring social entrepreneurs together, whether it's a shopkeeper in Istanbul or a sixteen year old in Iowa." To this end, 320Reality will present in 3 languages -- English, Arabic and Turkish - and provide subtitles to submitted videos.

    320Reality is a year-long competition that will culminate in PeaceMidan's conference in Long Beach, California in September 2013. The 320Reality competition is set up in stages:

    • Social entrepreneurs from around the world are invited to submit 3 minute videos of their best ideas for sustainable development and bridging communication barriers in the Middle East;
    • The online community will vote on these ideas, selecting the most compelling;
    • Winners of the first round will be invited to submit follow-up videos to further flesh out their proposals;
    • The online community and a panel of judges will collaboratively choose six finalists from this round who will be invited to attend PeaceMidan's first international conference in September 2013;
    • The six finalists will pitch their ideas at the conference in 20-minute presentations and the final 3 winners will receive financial and professional support to turn their ideas into reality.

    "We believe that the solutions of the area's challenges will come from the people," says Ms. Mamuji, "an international grassroots movement of people who are willing to work hard, be innovative, and support one another."
