    Author Melanie Hope Lang teaches high school English, travels the world, and rescues wild animals around her home. Melanie has lived in 5 states and over 13 cities. When not living the gypsy life, she and her husband plant their roots in Western Kentucky, raising four extraordinary children.

    This high school dropout turned teacher has a passion for education. Melanie earned her bachelor’s in Secondary English Education with a minor in public speaking after seven years of college as a single mother. Once teaching, she realized the various needs of her students and continued her education for four additional years. Since, Melanie has earned a master’s in Teacher Leadership: Reading & Writing Specialist and another master’s in Teacher Leadership: Gifted & Talented Coordinator.
