Friends of the Monterey Symphony Host Their Annual Kentucky Derby Fundraiser, Derby Day, on May 5 at Intercontinental Clement Hotel

  • Salinas, CA (1888PressRelease) February 17, 2018 - Derby Day is set for 12:30 p.m. at the Intercontinental Clement Hotel, 750 Cannery Row, in Monterey. This exciting and fun-filled event includes complimentary valet parking, mint juleps, lunch, horse chances, silent and live auctions and raffles.

    Kentucky Derby attire — those fabulous “Southern Belle” hats for the ladies, neckties and bowties for the gents — is encouraged for the “The Greatest Two Minutes in Sports” broadcast that day from Churchill Downs, in Louisville, Kentucky.

    Tickets are $125 general admission ($100 active-duty military); $500 for the Winner's Circle, $1,000 for the Winner's Circle Double, $2,500 for Winner's Circle Half Table (5 tickets) and $5,000 for Winner's Circle Full table (10 tickets), available at montereysymphony.org.
