  • San Francisco, CA (1888PressRelease) January 25, 2012 - Freebord Manufacturing formally announced their 2012 Pro Team today, which features a talented mix of riders from across the globe and includes four new members and four returning members from the 2011 team.

    The 2012 Team Includes: Arnaud de Bluze (FR), Mike Hoppe (US), Daniel Vega (US), Nico Gaillard (FR), Corey Lucero (US), Ben Berger (FR), Caleb Casey (US) and Tyler Murgo (US).

    The four riders returning from the 2011 Team include Hoppe, de Bluze, Gaillard (2011 Rider of the Year) and Lucero. New faces to the Team include Vega, Berger, Casey and Murgo (2011 Rookie of the Year).

    "Having been the Team Manager in years past, I can definitely say that this is one of the most talented teams we've ever put together," said Steven Bianco, current General Manager of Freebord and former Pro Team Manager. "Our pro team riders have always been leaders in our riding community and are responsible for a great deal of our sport's progression."

    Pro Team riders were selected by U.S. Team Manager Nick Cruit, European Team Manager Arnaud Blin, and other Freebord employees.

    "This year's Team has such a great mix of strong downhill riding and solid freestyle that we're really excited to see where these guys push our sport this year," Cruit said. "And with 2012 being Freebord's 15th Anniversary, expect to see some amazing things from these guys this year."
