  • (1888PressRelease) December 21, 2012 - MIW Foundation has organized and conducted a free medical camp with support of Supreme Infrastructure India Limited at DSIIDC Site, Tikri Kalan, Delhi on 18th December, 2012.The Camp started at 10.00 am and provided free medical checkup to more than 350 people, hailing from nearby slum areas. A team of medical and paramedical staff from SGT Dental College and reputed government and non-government hospitals provided medical care relating to dental care, eye related problems and care, general medicine, gynecological problems, general health checkup. Free medicines were provided and free medical tests were also conducted wherever necessary. One of the important features of the camp was that besides active medical treatment it also emphasized the importance of proper hygiene and prevention measures and thus reinforced a popular saying "Prevention Is Better Than Cure".

    The camp was privileged by the presence of Mr. Vikas B Sharma, Director, Supreme Infrastructure India Ltd., Mr. Ashish Bhutani, Managing Trustee of MIW Foundation, I.K Srivastva (SPM) X1 DSIIDC, Pawan Agarwal (CPM) X1 DSIIDC, Vijay Pal (SPM) X1 DSIIDC to make this medical camp a success.

    Mr. Vikas B Sharma, Director, Supreme Infrastructure India Ltd. stated that his organization's one of main social objective is medical relief for poor and needy. He said that his organization is keen to play role of an active participant and as one of main contributors in activities which are focused towards medical welfare of people providing active medical treatment and also emphasizing on social issues like public hygiene, prevention & control of disease's and measures for the well-being of society.

    He further stressed that medical care of weaker sections of society is important for balance in Society and here the role of non-government organizations like MIW Foundation becomes important where government authorities cannot reach due to their limited resources. He ended his speech by reinforcing his organization's active participation in similar activities in future for welfare of public.

    Mr. Ashish Bhutani, Managing Trustee of MIW Foundation stated during an inauguration speech that MIW Foundation has been consistently conducting activities for the welfare of weaker sections of society and people have been benefitting from such activities from time to time. Many people and organizations from government and non-government sectors have appreciated the efforts of the MIW Foundation in this noble mission. He further stated that MIW Foundation is determined to conduct such activities in future for the general welfare of public.
