  • Orlando, FL (1888PressRelease) February 19, 2019 - Busy college students, commuters and residents of Orlando’s east side will now be able to get their Foxtail fix.

Foxtail Coffee’s newest location—its 10th—opened this morning near the bustling intersection of University Boulevard and Alafaya Trail. The café, located at 12001 Collegiate Way, features both in-door seating and a drive thru.

“Since we opened our first shop in Winter Park in 2016, we’ve been growing where we see outstanding community opportunities,” said Alex Tchekmeian, Foxtail’s co-founder. “The response to our UCF Bookstore location has been overwhelming, and when this location came up, we knew we wanted the chance to serve even more people in the area.”

The 3,000-square-foot space is another example of Foxtail’s mission for adaptive reuse. The location was previously a fast food restaurant. Now, customers can do homework, work on computers, or catch up with friends with comfortable seating and Foxtail’s signature aesthetic, which blends rustic and modern.

The menu will feature locally roasted coffee, hand-crafted beverages, and food options, including selections from local partners.

Foxtail has nine other locations around Orlando: Winter Park, Foxtail’s Farmhouse, Downtown Orlando, the Hourglass District, Altamonte Springs, Foxtail Express: Lee Road, Dr. Phillips Center, UCF Bookstore and Tommy Hilfiger at the Vineland Premium Outlets.

The local business has plans for other locations around Central Florida in the near future, including in College Park. For more information about Foxtail Coffee Co., visit www.foxtailcoffee.com.
