  • Columbus, OH (1888PressRelease) May 28, 2011 - Local Reynoldsburg, OH girls, fed up with bullying, encourage others to stand up and report bullying through a very unique way.

It's important parents to know if their child is being bullied, but it's equally important for parents to know if their child is the bully. This is part of what four neighborhood girls who refer to themselves as DJHK, which is the first initial of each of their names, relay in their video message, "Inside Voice."

Creating a video wasn't enough. These girls are taking "Inside Voice" to the streets. DJHK are going door to door sharing their message about bullies. They enforce the point: "If you or someone you know is a bully-if you or someone you know is being bullied, use your outside voice to tell-even if you have to yell!"

Most neighbors don't mind having their dinner interrupted. "With so many doors left to knock on, our girls have a long 2011 summer ahead of them," one of the mothers stated. "But I'm sure their efforts will make for a much better and hopefully bully free 2011-2012 school year."
