  • Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) August 30, 2012 - Pip, former contestant on NBC's smash hit show The Voice, announces the release of his debut single, "Who Cares", the first track off his forthcoming EP entitled No Formalities.

Produced by Noah Shain (Dead Sera, Sonny/Skrillex), Pip co-wrote "Who Cares" with Luis Dubuc (Mystery Skulls, The Secret Handshake). Featuring a fresh pop twist on old school funk along with the soulful and mature beyond his years vocals that Pip is known for, the track is set to hit airwaves September 11 and will kick off the countdown for No Formalities. Recorded with the same team as the single and set for release this winter, No Formalities is 20-year-old Pip's debut EP.

Pip was an immediate fan favorite after his national debut on The Voice where his performance had Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee-Loo Green and Blake Shelton all fighting for his attention. Adam Levine said of Pip "[He] could pretty much do anything and affect people and impact people." Pip hopes to do exactly that. "I owe everything to the wonderful support I get from my fans," says Pip. "I can't wait to share this with them."
