Former Louisville Cardinal Reece Gaines signs at Guaros de Lara in Venezuela
Guaros de Lara makes another key signing in February.
- (1888PressRelease) February 17, 2012 - Reece Gaines joined European basketball club BSC Raiffeisen ( Austria ) in January. Importantly, an opt-out provision was included in his contract, enabling him to leave BSC Raiffeisen. Coincidentally, Gaines opted-out, agreeing to terms with Guaros de Lara in Venezuela.
Reece Gaines enjoyed a prolific career at the University of Louisville. He was a four-year starter. He played with several NBA clubs after his final game donning cardinal red: the Orlando Magic, the Houston Rockets and the Milwaukee Bucks all signed Gaines to deals. In addition to the NBA, he's played in France, Italy, Spain, Greece and Austria.
