(DTI), the nation's largest private independent provider of discovery services, facilities management and knowledge solutions, announces Ralph Rostas has joined the company in the role of Mid-Atlantic Forensics Manager for DTI's discovery services business. In this role, Mr. Rostas manages all aspects of DTI's computer forensics and forensic data acquisition in the Washington, D.C. Metro and Virginia markets.

    As part of DTI's expert forensics team, Mr. Rostas works closely with clients to assess their needs and to help achieve cost-effective, defensible solutions for data acquisition and preservation. He is directly responsible for the use of analytical and investigative techniques to identify, collect, examine and preserve evidence and information that is magnetically stored or encoded.

    Mr. Rostas joins DTI with more than six years of experience specifically in forensics and electronic discovery. He most recently worked as a certified forensic computer examiner and e-discovery consultant with CVA Forensics, LLC in Richmond, VA. Prior to that Rostas served as a litigation technology specialist at two different Richmond law firms, LeClair Ryan and Williams Mullen. Mr. Rostas also spent more than 20 years in the field of mechanical design engineering and project management.

    Rostas is a Certified Computer Forensic Examiner (CCE) and a Certified Litigation Support Professional (CLSP). He is a current member of the International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners, the American Society of Digital Forensics & eDiscovery and the High Technology Crime Investigation Association, and is also a participant of the EDRM. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Paralegal Studies from Kaplan University, in addition to his degree in Mechanical Design.
