  • Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, FL (1888PressRelease) December 28, 2010 - Florida Volvo Club of America (http://www.flvcoa.org/) - FLVCOA, announces the 2011 Spring Meet at Philippe Park, Safety Harbor, FL, on Saturday March 5, 2011 from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M.. All Volvo enthusiasts are welcome. Models represented at previous meets range from the early PV 444 and 544's, P1800's and the 120, called the Amazon in Sweden, the 140 series, the 240 series and 240 Turbo, and all models in between and up to the newest S60. The varieties of models on display are always an interesting surprise for those attending the meet.

    The meet in Philippe Park is gathering at Shelter #5 which is the first shelter on the right as one enters the park. There is easily parking for over 100 cars and attendees can bring parts to swap or sell. The beautiful park features BBQ grills, picnic tables, playgrounds, a boat ramp, historical significance and great views of Tampa Bay with lots of shade. This is a great location for a family outing and picnic.

    The event will feature awards in multiple car categories, a 50/50 cash drawing, door prizes and more. Further event information will be posted at FLVCOA.org and FLVCOABlog.Org as more details become available.
