First Sarawakian Native to Speak at ICCA Congress 2012

  • (1888PressRelease) October 23, 2012 - SAN JUAN - Sarawak Convention Bureau (SCB) made its first appearance at IMEX America early October 2012 and in the 51st ICCA Congress 2012, Ms Amelia Roziman- Global Marketing & Communications Director of SCB, will be the first native Sarawakian to speak at the Congress.

    "I am thrilled and honoured to be a speaker for the ICCA Congress and to share the Sarawakian creative way of thinking. Much of my focus will be on creativity in presenting bids- to provide tips on daring to be different and stand out from the crowd. I hope to encourage everyone to make creative thinking a part of their everyday lives," comments Ms Amelia.

    Ms Amelia will be presenting during the 'Advanced Bidding Session' of the 'Fundamentals of bidding for international association meetings' alongside Andreas Abold (abold GmbH), Alice Au (Tourism Toronto/ Toronto Convention Bureau), Eric Chou (Metro Toronto Convention Centre) and Christian Mutschlechner, Director at the Vienna Convention Bureau, Austria who is the session leader.

    Adding to Ms Amelia's credibility, she is also one of the pioneer speakers in the SCB's Tribal Wisdom Speaker (TWS) Programme.
